Pahiram.ph Is Up for Acquisition – Here’s Why

Back in 2017, I launched Pahiram.ph with a simple but powerful mission:

To make borrowing and lending items easier, safer, and more accessible for Filipinos.

The idea was born out of a clear need—so many of us have idle tools, gear, and equipment sitting around, while others are constantly looking to borrow those very things for short-term use. Pahiram.ph bridged that gap, offering a platform where individuals and organizations could rent or lend items securely and conveniently.

What Happened?

By 2020, Pahiram.ph had started gaining traction. We ranked #1 on Google for the keyword “pahiram” and had built a strong foundation for a peer-to-peer rental economy in the Philippines.

Then the pandemic hit.

Like many startups, we were forced to shut down operations due to the uncertainty and limitations brought on by lockdowns. Physical rentals became difficult, and priorities shifted.

But I never forgot about Pahiram.

The Relaunch That Almost Was

Fast forward to 2025—I had planned to relaunch Pahiram.ph with improved features, better UX, and a renewed marketing strategy. The goal was to evolve the platform into a powerful SaaS rental solution for both individuals and businesses.

However, plans change.

This year, I’ve decided to pursue other directions, and rather than letting Pahiram.ph remain on the shelf, I want to hand it off to someone who can take it further.
